A dull close for the Nifty after stock market started again business following the nationwide vacation. The enjoyment was only seen in the wider marketplaces, where well known midcap IT and NBFC organizations made sensible profits for traders.

The Nifty commodity start attention reduced by 0.21% while BankNifty futres open interest is reduced by 1.13% as market closed at 5362.95 levels.


The Nifty Aug. future closed at premium of 19.02 point against premium of 26.40 points. The Sept. series closed at a premium of 46.50 points.

The Implied Volatility of at the money options is increased from 12.50% to 13.20%.

Among the sectors, BSE FMCG, BSE Metal and BSE CD were the main losers of the day, which decreased by 2.03 percent, 1.42 percent and 1.01 percent respectively.

Nifty closed at 5362.94 down by 17.30 points or 0.31percent over the previous day closing 5380.30, after witnessing a low of 5356.60 and a high of 5390.60. Sensex closed at 17657.20. down by 70.97 points or 0.30 percent over the previous day closing of 17728.10. It touched an intraday low of 17640.60 and high of 17763.57.

Nifty PCR-OI decreased from 1.20 to 1.17 levels.

The total OI of the market is 1,44,783/- cr. and the stock futures OI are 31,653/- cr.
